CIG Healthcare Partnership honoured at the 2015 OTC Marketing Awards

CIG Healthcare Partnership is pleased to announce that the Boots 30 Minute Tutor Training Programme once again earned the title of ‘Best OTC Pharmacy and Training Support Package’ at the prestigious OTC Marketing Awards, held by the OTC Bulletin on 5 March in London. Furthermore, each of the three entries listed as ‘Highly Commended’ in the category were CIG Healthcare collaborations with Omega Pharma, making this a memorable year for the team.

 

The judging panel praised the refreshed and relaunched 30 Minute Tutor for building on an already successful format with a host of innovative features. They said: “Sophisticated and well thought through, the revamp addresses individual learners directly in the context of monthly trading sales periods, underlining key sales plan messages.”

 

“Focusing on the ‘Complete care conversation’, Boots 30 Minute Tutor reinforces learning through structured activities, but also emphasises practical aspects using customer scenarios. These contain key points for the learner to include in future conversations.”

 

The three Highly Commended programmes in the category were Lyclear, Prevalin/Beconase and Omega Pharma 360 Training Program.

 

Among the judges’ comments on the Omega Pharma entries were:

 

“Lyclear has a detailed and comprehensive package. The conversations provided to help pharmacy staff discuss a difficult subject – head lice – are particularly good.”

 

“Prevalin and Beconase training is well-designed, clear and ticks all the boxes.”

 

“Omega Pharma 360 Training covers important areas for pharmacy. It takes an inclusive approach and uses technology in a user-friendly and effective way.”
