CIG projects have taken the first, runner-up and third prizes for Best OTC Pharmacy Training at this year’s OTC Marketing Awards, making this a proud year for us and our clients.

The top prize went to HRA Pharma’s ellaOne POM to P training, which was hailed by the expert judging panel as “the stand-out launch of the year”. They commented on the training package’s success in delivering “comprehensive information and discussion of options, combined with practical advice to help pharmacy staff deal with a distressing situation in a sensitive way.”

Omega Pharma was named runner-up for their Dermalex training. The judges commented that their materials “work well together, providing the essential elements to build confidence”.

The Boots 30 Minute Tutor took third place, with judges saying that it “continues to deliver in an accessible format across a wide range of issues”.

The ellaOne and Dermalex materials also took the top slots in the Best Education & Training category at the SMART Awards earlier this year. We are delighted that our clients’ commitment to quality training has been recognised and we look forward to developing more training projects throughout 2016.
